A Great Dane and a Dame:
a video from a recent photo shoot
My original idea was to have a woman with a Dalmatian, and I searched for months trying to find one, but ended up empty handed. And then, out of thin air this beautiful Great Dane appeared. She was more perfect than I could have imagined. Even when you plan everything to a T, photography remains the most magical medium of chance and luck.

Super excited to have Leslie accepted into the
Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition 2013 Exhibition!
The exhibition will be held at The National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC
March 2013 - February 2014.
I was about 19 when my mom and I went to the Portrait Gallery. Falling immediately in love with the art and the space, I told her that "my work was going to be in this gallery someday." In March 2013 that day will have finally come! I couldn't be more thrilled.
